Impact is proud to meet the industry’s highest quality management standards at both our Quality Assurance Support Lab in Houston and our Global Technology Center in the U.K. Our Houston facility was recently certified as ISO 9001:2015 compliant, while our U.K. lab maintained its certification.
Rodney Uchytil, President and CEO of Impact, said achieving ISO 9001:2015 accreditation is an important accomplishment for the Houston site, which opened in 2019.
“Both of our lab facilities have now been recognized for meeting the industry’s gold standard for operational excellence,” Uchytil said. “On behalf of the entire company, I commend Paul Craddock—our Product Development and Technology Center Manager—and his team for leading our ISO accreditation efforts.”
The Houston lab serves as an extension of our Global Technology Center, Impact’s state-of-the-art hub for driving innovation in downhole fluid science. The U.K. facility consistently maintains its ISO 9001 certification and met the latest standard, ISO 9001:2015, one year ahead of schedule.
“This standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement,” according to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) website. “Using ISO 9001:2015 helps ensure that customers get consistent, good quality products and services, which in turn brings many business benefits.”
