Impact Presents at SPE APOGCE

Joint Paper Demonstrates the Value and Performance of an Ultra-Low Invasion Fluid Technology Used in 14 Wells

Impact will present a co-authored paper with the drilling team of the largest operator in Venezuela at the upcoming Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Asia Pacific Oil & Gas Conference and Exhibition (APOGCE) October 17-19 in Jakarta, Indonesia. The paper highlights drilling in the Naricual Formation in Venezuela where high pressures in multiple intervals require complex well planning. Impact’s Ultra-Low Invasion Fluid Technology (ULIFT) was adopted with the purpose of eliminating the intermediate casing string, while drilling through an open hole section where over 7,000 psi was recorded.
