Impact Presents at SPE Formation Damage Workshop

Impact's CTO Discussed Drilling Fluid Characteristics Needed to Drill Through Mechanically Weak Formations

The Society of Petroleum Engineer's (SPE) Formation Damage Workshop is the premiere workshop for industry experts to discuss optimum well completions to achieve the greatest production. Impact's Chief Technology Officer, Andy Bradbury, was one of the speakers at the event. Bradbury's presentation discussed multiple case histories demonstrating ideal drilling fluid design while drilling mechanically weak formations. He also introduced various stabilization techniques, from conventional (stress caging) to the Impact-branded phrase wellbore shielding.

Our wellbore shielding technology forms an impermeable shield on the face of the formation, mitigating lost circulation issues and ensuring wellbore stability.
