Impact Day of Service at the Houston Food Bank

The Impact Our World program combines charitable giving and community service, contributing to a variety of organizations

Impact team members prepared meals for hungry children at the Houston Food Bank last week during a “Day of Service” as part of the Impact Our World program. Employees from our corporate office in Houston volunteered at Keegan Kitchen, which distributes thousands of hot meals a day to kids in need. The facility’s work is especially important during the summer, when children who would normally receive lunch at school may not have the opportunity to eat a balanced meal every day.

The Houston Food Bank is the largest food bank in the U.S. in terms of distribution, providing 83 million nutritious meals per year and feeding 800,000 people.

The Impact Our World program combines charitable giving and community service, contributing to a variety of humanitarian organizations that are particularly meaningful to our employees. Our employees make our communities stronger, and we are proud to support their volunteer efforts at local nonprofits. We believe it is an honor to give back and a pleasure to support our employees’ passions and interests, especially when it involves working together to help children.
